Soccer has been part of Giselle’s life since childhood. She has been a part of the game for over 12 years, playing primarily as a defender. For the past six years, she has shared her love of soccer by coaching players ages 6–12, helping them build skills and confidence both on and off the field.
Originally coming to Sonoma County to study psychology at Sonoma State, Giselle has rooted herself in the community through her work with youth. She serves at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin in Roseland and also supports young people at Sonoma County Juvenile Hall, where she first connected with Atlético through Jorge Castañeda Reyes.
Giselle’s true passion lies in guiding youth to grow into their full potential—whether in soccer, school, or life. She is dedicated to helping the next generation believe in themselves, exceed their own expectations, and carry the lessons of teamwork and perseverance wherever their paths take them.
