Fuego (2016) are champions of the RAGE Summer Cup, capping a fantastic weekend with a composed, team-first performance. Led by Coach Armando Coronel, the group showed grit, discipline, and smart soccer from the first whistle to the last.

A Statement Weekend

From confident build-up play to relentless pressing, Fuego controlled key moments across the tournament. The back line stayed organized, midfield connected the game with purpose, and the attack created chances with creativity and composure. Most importantly, every player contributed—this was a true squad victory.

Coaching & Teamwork

Coach Armando Coronel and staff prepared the team brilliantly, emphasizing focus, communication, and quick transitions. The girls responded with maturity and togetherness, turning good habits from training into silverware.

About the RAGE Summer Cup

The RAGE Summer Cup is hosted by Pleasanton RAGE and played at Ken Mercer Sports Park. The 2025 edition ran August 9–10 and features girls’ teams from U8–U14—a well-run, two-day event known for a single-site setup and a great tournament atmosphere.
