Atlético Santa Rosa proudly represented Santa Rosa, California, at the Copa San Marcos 2026, an international youth soccer tournament held in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

The tournament brought together youth clubs from different regions of Mexico and international delegations for a week of competitive soccer, cultural exchange, and player development. The opening ceremony took place at Estadio Victoria on July 27, followed by tournament competition beginning July 28.

Atlético Santa Rosa’s participation marked another important opportunity for our players to compete outside the United States and experience a different soccer environment.

Representing Santa Rosa on an International Stage

Traveling from Northern California to Aguascalientes gave our players the chance to represent their club, families, and community on an international stage.

The official Copa San Marcos channels welcomed the delegation from Santa Rosa, California, and recognized Atlético Santa Rosa as one of the international teams participating in the 2026 tournament.

Throughout the competition, our players faced strong opponents, adapted to a demanding tournament schedule, and experienced the passion and atmosphere of youth soccer in Mexico.
